Thanks for stopping by!  I'm so excited to potentially work together!  In the spirit of getting to know one another, a little bit about me and my journey below.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, I moved to Los Angeles, CA in the early aughts as I needed some Vitamin D and a career change.  I left college yearning to become a news anchor and, after my first job in a newsroom, decided news life wasn't for me.

I naturally have an adventurous, inquisitive spirit and love being active! So, when I was approached to run the events department for a restaurant upon my move to LA, I said, "Why not?"  And that was it - I was hooked on events and knew I had to make event planning my career.

After extensively growing event sales programs for two restaurant groups over five years, I segued into corporate events by landing a job at Blizzard Entertainment in Irvine, CA.  I was the second hire of Blizzard's newly formed events team and it was events bootcamp and video games all the time!

From large-scale global launch events to 30,000-person conventions, to excitingly huge internal events and celebrations, with Blizzard I traveled and planned, and executed, executed, executed.  My experience there laid the technical foundation in events planning that I needed to be successful along with an understanding of various decisions driving event strategy.

In 2012, I was recruited by Warner Bros. Games to serve as their Manager, Events, where I implemented processes and strategy to ensure the division was participating in and creating activations that drove ROI, while growing a team of events professionals.

From Manager, to Sr. Manager, and finally, Director, Experiential Marketing & Events in 2017, I drove event strategy for over 30 titles, worked cross-functionally with various stakeholders across the studio globally to achieve success, implemented cutting-edge technology into activations to amplify brand messaging and increase awareness, and became certified as a Digital Events Strategist when we pivoted to digital events during COVID.

Unfortunately, our large-scale in-person events never returned to WBG post-COVID.  To fill that void, I formed House Of Halasa (HOH) in September, 2022.  My goal: Assist individuals or businesses with planning and/or guide them as they navigate the post-COVID events landscape.  The rest is history!

When I'm not busy "eventing," you can find me working out, skiing, playing tennis, biking, roller skating, hiking, salsa dancing, writing, volunteering, or binge-watching TV shows/Philly sports with my dog.

I recently completed my first TV pilot for young children called "Pretty Kitty Ninjas" (PKN).  The animated series educates and empowers children of all ages and backgrounds, encouraging them to embrace each of their unique talents and work together towards common goals.

I'm beyond grateful for all of the opportunities that have come my way in this lifetime and for doing what I love to do every day.  I'm looking forward to those that lay ahead - including, getting to know you!
